The Regional Line Station Manager in India oversees all maintenance operations within the assigned area, ensuring safety, regulatory, and organizational standards compliance. This role involves managing workforce scheduling, coordinating communication between the station and customers, and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency in line maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance of all tasks within the assigned area, ensuring maintenance operations meet the required standards.
  • Manage the organization and execution of all maintenance works, ensuring they are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure rosters and shift patterns comply with regulatory requirements and organizational needs.
  • Oversee shift handovers to maintain continuity and information flow between shifts.
  • Ensure an adequate and qualified workforce is available to perform required maintenance activities.
  • Facilitate coordination and communication between the maintenance station and customers to meet service expectations.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities on aircraft are conducted safely, professionally, and in compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.
  • Ensure the safety of personnel, aircraft, and equipment at the station.
  • Implement corrective actions to address deviations identified by regulatory authorities or Quality Management (QM).
  • Ensure all required documentation is available, current, and properly maintained.
  • Control the management and archiving of maintenance records at the line maintenance location.
  • Oversee the preparation, control, and use of work packages and task cards by maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure completed work packages are reviewed for completeness and correctness, and that certifying staff release aircraft to service appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Line Maintenance within an EASA-regulated environment, including managing line maintenance stations.
  • Preferably holds a valid EASA Part-145 certificate, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of compliance standards and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements in aviation.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest safety, efficiency, and compliance standards in line maintenance operations.
  • Ability to ensure effective communication and coordination among teams and with clients.
