Avia Solutions Group is a global organization with 12 airlines specializing in ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) services. We are seeking a mid-level Purchase Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in procurement processes, specifically within the ACMI sector. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies. Having aviation knowledge and expertise in the global aviation market, along with the ability to manage procurement across multiple airlines within our organization, would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the procurement process for ACMI services, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve the best terms and conditions.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies and initiatives in the procurement process.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business objectives.
  • Supervise procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
