LB&B Associates Inc. is currently accepting applications for a part-time Contract Instructor Pilot (AVP) for the MQ-4 training at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL.
An MQ-4 AVP must be or have been a MQ-4 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified Pilot or have been a simulator Pilot instructor within the preceding five (5) years. An AVP must have a minimum of one fleet tour in the MQ-4 and minimum of one tour as an FRS Instructor Pilot. Deviations from the listed qualifications may be waived on a case by case basis by the VP-30 Commanding Officer. An AVP shall have a minimum security clearance level of Secret.
Certifications. A AVP must successfully complete the MQ-4 IFC4 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) open-book and closed-book exams as well as a simulator procedural evaluation and must annually renew and maintain qualifications with the FRS. The minimum test and procedural evaluation scores will be as established by the FRS. The FRS Fleet NATOPS department will administer the procedural evaluation and the open-book and closed-book exams. The AVP must demonstrate an understanding of the mission, aircraft operating systems and normal/emergency crew procedures required in the execution of the MQ-4 aircraft.
