ALG is currently seeking a CMM Inspector to join our defence client's team in Brisbane. This role offers a permanent position with full-time hours.

- Process new products through a quality planning system to verify manufacturing processes and capabilities.
- Document all new processes via the first article inspection process when applicable.
- Maintain quality records in accordance with contractual and industry standards.
- Manage registers for non-conformance actions and monitor for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensure departmental practices align with the company's Quality Policy, processing all products according to industry standards.
- Create quality inspection plans and CMM programs to validate conformance to customer specifications.
- Implement and maintain an effective calibration process.
- Ensure a recall system is in place to prevent the use of out-of-calibration measurement, inspection, and test equipment for acceptance purposes.
Key Requirements:
- Experience processing new products through a quality planning process to confirm manufacturing processes and their capabilities.
- Ability to document new processes through first article inspections.
- Proficient in maintaining quality records as per contractual and industry requirements.
- Skilled in managing registers for non-conformance actions and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Knowledge of aligning departmental practices with the company's Quality Policy and industry standards.
- Expertise in creating quality inspection plans and CMM programs for validating customer specifications.
- Experience implementing and maintaining calibration processes.
- Ability to ensure a recall system prevents the use of out-of-calibration equipment for acceptance purposes.
