POSITION: Avionic Engineer

REPORTING TO: Chief Engineer


Starlite Aviation Group has a contract requirement for a responsible, knowledgeable, and attentive individual to fill a position as an Avionic Engineer. The role will be located in Africa (bases may vary according to contract requirements).


  • Maintenance of Aircraft:
    • Serviceable Aircraft Delivered.
    • Ensure all work is carried out according to OEM Documentation.
    • Carry out fault finding and defect rectification.
    • Ensure the correct spares are ordered.
    • Maintain Good Tool control.
    • Comply with SACAA or other relevant Authorities Regulations.
    • Maintain a high-Quality Standard.
    • Adhere to Standard Times for Maintenance Task.
    • Experience in defect diagnostics and rectifications.
    • Experience in embodiment of modifications, satisfying ASBs, CSNs, SSIs and ADs.
    • Prepare and assist with Internal and External Audits.
    • Conformance to Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).

The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:

  • Valid SACAA or EASA Registered (SACAA preferable)
  • W - Instruments (Essential)
  • W - Electrical (Essential)
  • W - Avionics/Radio (Essential)
  • X - Compass (Advantageous)
  • X- Electrical (Advantageous)
