Accountant - Controlling (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Teamleader (m/f/d) for our Finance Team with the possibility of the development to become our future Finance Manager as retirement replacement with a team of 5 heads in Cologne.

Your responsibilities:

• Checking, account assignment and posting of our incoming invoices in SAGE X3
• Creation, dispatch and posting of our outgoing invoices
• Posting our bank statements
• Support with the processing of payment transactions
• Creation and dispatch of customer reminders
• Posting our credit card statements
• Checking and posting travel expense reports
• Management and maintenance of fixed assets
• Preparing weekly reports and sending them to the parent company
• Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Our expectations:

• Successfully completed commercial training
• several years of professional experience in accounting
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Confident handling of SAGE X3 and all common MS Office programmes
• conscientious and organised way of working, discretion, flexibility and self-motivation as well as the ability to work in a team
• Written and spoken English, as we communicate regularly with the finance department of our parent company in the UK
