Established in 1984 and with its headquarters located in Xiamen, a coastal city in Fujian in Southeast China, Xiamen Airlines is China’s first airline company operating under the modern enterprise system. Ltd was established on 25th July, 1984 jointly by Civil Aviation Administration of China and Fujian Provincial Government. As the only Chinese airline featuring an all-Boeing fleet, Xiamen Airlines has a fleet of 188 aircraft with a total of 18,824 seats, and an average airplane service age of 5.48 years, as of January, 2018. Xiamen Airlines operates more than 350 domestic routes, and almost 30 international and regional routes, and flies more than 3,200 flights each week.
