Dominique Crenn, the chef/owner of San Francisco restaurants Petit Crenn, one Michelin starred Bar Crenn, and three Michelin starred Atelier Crenn, focuses on cuisine as a craft and the community as an inspiration. Crenn was awarded Worlds Best Female Chef in 2016 by San Pellegrinos 50 Best, Best Chef: West in May of 2018 by the James Beard Foundation, and four stars from SF Chronicle in June 2018.Atelier Crenn is currently searching for passionate and dedicated individuals interested in joining our team in the role of Captain. Two years of fine dining experience is a must.Main Role:Service Captain ensures that Members and guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience, will be on charge to greet the guest at the table and making sure is the to go person when it comes to guest request.The Captain will introduce the concept of the restaurant and reconfirm all allergies, food restrictions and other guest request.The captain is the relay between the kitchen and the server assistant to make sure the food is well coordinate with the kitchen, but also the glassware and marks are placed according to the menu.During the dinner, the Captain will interact with the guest to make sure is answering any question about food, wine, service and concept.The captain will need to make sure the prompt check is dropped according to reservation platform and what the guest had consumed during their dinner.Qualities Required:Must have a good personality and experience in the luxury hospitality business.Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail; ability to multi-taskMust have good communication and ability to promote sales.Must be skilled in time management.
