Operations Coordinator (Aviation)

Opportunity to take on this dynamic, challenging role ensuring the highest levels of aircraft services are delivered to the flying division of the Scottish Ambulance Service. This role is crucial in ensuring contract requirements are fulfilled safely and promptly, allocating all available resources in the most cost-effective way. In order to successfully fill the demands of this exciting opportunity, you will be a highly organised, logical and motivated individual. The successful candidate can expect tasks to include:

  • Coordinating activities of helicopter and fixed wing aircraft for operational duties.

  • Being the key link person between the Specialist Service Desk and the company

  • Working autonomously to manage your own workload and standards

  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are updated of all aircraft movements to ensure smooth operational running

  • At all times ensure that all relevant regulations, limitations, standards and policies are upheld

  • Monitor, identify and feedback potential improvements

  • Assist the managerial team in ensuring any investigations are dealt with swiftly and appropriate actions implemented

  • Record and report on KPI's

  • Staff appraisals

Candidates must have significant operational experience in a similar environment and will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a wide variety of personnel at all levels. You will be secure in your knowledge of UK aviation regulations and how these influence the delivery of this role's requirements.
