The Avionics Technician performs aircraft maintenance, repairs and overhaul applicable to their trade and completes the associated documentation in accordance with industry standards, policies and procedures. Assist and coaches junior technicians as required.
Major responsibilities and Duties
Ensure all repair/modifications and inspection tasks are performed in accordance with the customers check package, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), quality control procedures, standard operation procedures, process standards, all maintanence, manufacturing and policy manuals and scope of their certification authority.
Ensure the return of the customer aircraft in safe and serviceable condition by performing all work tasks in accordance with applicable manuals, Transport Canada Regulations, Technical Airworthiness Manual, Quality Control Procedures, Standard operating procedures, process standards, all maintenance, manufacturing and policy manuals and scope of their certification authority
Ensure all paperwork, documentation and reporting associated with a repair is completed accurately and in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, Technical Airworthiness Manual , Quality Control Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Process Standards, all maintenance, manufacturing and policy manuals
