Reporting directly to the Global Sales & Marketing Director, CertifyNation's Senior Aerospace Sales Engineer is a hands-on role that will be a critical part of the company's future success. Having responsibility in CertifyNation's aggressive growth projections, this position will require an experienced, self-motivated individual who has demonstrated the ability to drive sales growth through hard work, diligence, industry knowledge, and personal connections. Key Responsibilities Meet or exceed sales goals by helping secure orders for products & services Generate and visit prospective targets to discover needs and ultimately establish new customers Initiate and manage sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers Develop long term relationships with customers through managing and interpreting their requirements Serve as the main point of contact for assigned existing customers Develop sales plans for major accounts including forecasting and strategic planning Obtain and present market & competitive intelligence Acquire and analyze "Voice of Customer" information and share these inputs internally Provide an active and energetic presence at trade shows Education, Experience, Capabilities Education / Training Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering or in a related technical and/or equivalent field from an ABET accredited (or equivalent) university. Domain experience & training in the following areas: Minimum of 10 years in the commercial and/or military aircraft retrofit and integration industry is required. Excellent oral, written, analytical and interpersonal skills are required. Knowledge of regulatory data (FAA Regulatory and Guidance, Military Specifications, etc.), Aircraft OEM data (SRMs, SWPM/ESPM/SPM, AMM, etc.), and industry data (IPC/WHMA-A-620, SAE AS50881, IPC-A-610, Mil-STDs, NAS, etc.) are preferred. Knowledge of EASA or other foreign CAA regulations is preferred. Experience working on FAA certification programs is preferred. Capabilities Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce is required. Up to date on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Ability to present, inform, and persuade executive-level customers using excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to maintain and grown new and existing customer relationships. High level of professionalism and integrity with suppliers, customers, and team members. Responds with consistency in situations that require honesty and candor. Proactive and self-controlled work ethic: self-starter. Management, Location, Travel This position requires the applicant to be a US Citizen. This position will have no direct reports. This position can work remotely or at Angelus' headquarters in Sussex, Wisconsin. If remote, monthly visits to Angelus' headquarters will be required. This position will require approximately 50-75% travel (annual average).
