Business Development Manager opportunity for an accomplished aviation sales expert. Working for a successful, global airline, the Business Development Manager will play a key role in acquiring new clients and developing improved sales strategies, expanding and growing the business. This includes aircraft management of major corporations, private clients and "special missions".
The duties of the Business Development Manager include, but aren't limited to:
Building on and maintaining a deep understanding of all the airline's services on offer to clients.
Creating strong relationships with all clients.
Proactively generating sales opportunities and leads, with current and new customers.
Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure the correct market is being targeted.
Analysing market trends and adapting strategies to accommodate any changes.
Generating reports on the business' future positioning and bid development
Using various tools to show an accurate view of the sales pipeline.
Producing forecast statements to reflect sales by year, month and quarter.
You will have an impressive track record of sales and business development within the aviation industry. Furthermore, you must have the ability to work within a fast-paced and challenging environment, whilst being extremely numerate and adaptable. You should also have great enthusiasm for the role, alongside great customer-relation and organisation skills. It would be an advantage to have a background in dealing with Ultra High Net Worth Individuals alongside experience in securing government contracts.
