The successful MCC duty Engineer will be a vital support to Sky Express CAMO Manager and will ensure maintenance tasks are carried out to the highest possible standards of safety and quality.

He will be responsible to monitor, issue orders and schedule maintenance work and he will have an excellent knowledge of current fleet technical status.

The successful candidate will be in close collaboration with Sky Express CAMO department and OCC regarding the status of Sky Express fleet and will report to CAMO Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of aircraft defects, deferred defects and damages to the aircraft and planned activities in rectification of the defects
  • Daily monitoring of the maintenance due lists, making sure that all maintenance work that is due for maintenance has been performed in timely manner
  • Daily reporting of the maintenance status through DASR (Daily Airworthiness Status Report)
  • Scheduling the daily maintenance work in accordance with the flying schedule, contacting with the Line Maintenance shift leader and other maintenance providers, transferring the work orders to the maintenance, issuing orders to perform tasks such as troubleshooting and/or defect rectification
  • Updating the technical status of Sky Express fleet in OPS/OCC software and booking the aircraft maintenance time in the OCC software
  • Continously communicating with OCC about the fleet technical status and coordinating maintenance activities while providing the estimates of the time required to perform rectification of defects
  • Providing detailed and accurate information about the next due scheduled or unscheduled deferred maintenance to the flight crew and OCC
  • Follow up and coordinating the complex troubleshooting activities, repetitive defects and other service dificulties
  • Monitoring of the deliveries of ordered spare parts, scheduling and issuing orders for defect rectification when spare parts are available


  • Aeronautical or Aviation Maintenance technician degree
  • B1/B2 licence with ATR 42/72 type rating will be considered a strong asset
  • Excellent knowledge of using aircraft technical documentation (AMM, IPC, MEL, MP itd.)
  • At least 3 years of experience in aviation maintenance and/or CAMO organisation
  • Excellent knowledge of EASA rules and regulations, Part-M and Part-145
  • Proficient in English
  • Proficient user of IT Technologies and Office applications
