Job description
AIRCRAFT BATTERY SHOP TECHNICIAN REQUIRED
Air Personnel are currently recruiting for Battery Shop Technician working for an Aerospace company based near Guildford

Responsibilities:

Servicing and inspection of Aircraft Batteries in accordance with the CAA, EASA, FAA and Customer requirements. ( Ni-cd Batteries, Sealed Lead Acid Batteries and Emergency Battery Packs).
Maintain accurate records.
Perform Quality Control inspections
Provide technical information to customers when called upon or required to do so.
Perform Shipping and Receiving duties as required

Experience:
2+ years experience within an Electronic Components Technicians role, ideally within the aerospace/aircraft parts industry.

Skills required:

Ability to use Electronic Test Equipment to analyse, repair and charge Batteries
Experience of working to ISO 9001:2008 quality standards
Ability to solve practical tasks and deal with a variety of changing situations.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Good communication skills
Must be highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
