Job description

We'll provide you with industry leading training - including aviation safety & security, first aid and customer service - and help you to develop through our extensive Online Learning Academy. You'll be learning from industry-leading people, 'Developing in Orange years' and playing your part in shaping easyJet from the word go. The apprenticeship programme will consist of:
  • A fully comprehensive initial training programme delivered by easyJet at one of our first class training centres using our state of the art facilities.
  • Apprenticeship induction programme with easyJet in conjunction with Outsource our apprentice partner, including training around prevent and safeguarding.
  • On the job training delivered by easyJet.
  • Access to development tools and learning material, including our extensive Online Learning Academy.
  • Day to day support with your on-board Cabin Managers.
  • Access to a dedicated Apprenticeship Development Coach who you will meet with at regular intervals and quarterly formal Progress Reviews with your Apprenticeship Manager to ensure your apprenticeship is progressing well.


The Apprenticeship Structure

The apprenticeship standard has two parts:

The Learning Journey - this incorporates the skills, knowledge and behaviours that are essential to the role, the employer and the industry. It covers the coaching and mentoring elements of the programme and where necessary any additional support you may require. During the Learning Journey, you will attend coaching sessions to discuss your progression and to review examples of when you have demonstrated the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for the role which link to the level 3 Airline Cabin Crew Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Throughout this time you will be documenting and reflecting on your learnings to help develop through the programme.
  • The training and development delivered by easyJet in partnership with Outsource will ensure you have developed the skills, knowledge and behaviours to be able to complete your End-Point Assessment.
  • The End-Point Assessment - this takes place at the end of the programme and will consist of the following:
    • Professional Discussion
    • Simulated Observation
    • Multiple Choice Assessment

Role & Responsibilities
  • Ensure our company policies and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Greet customers with enthusiasm, passion and personality - ensuring their journey is safe, easy and memorable
  • Deliver great customer service on each flight, including on-board Bistro & Boutique services
  • Maintain a great on-board environment
  • Help customers with any questions
  • Work closely with your on-board team to maintain our great on time performance
  • Attend our training and development programme, which will help you grow as an employee and ensure we continue to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Complete Learning Logs, attend coaching and progress reviews and End-Point Assessment
  • Live our easyJet Customer Charter in everything you do


Role requirements
  • Aged 18 or over
  • Height 5'2" (157.5 cm) to 6'3" (190cm) without shoes
  • The continuing ability to be able to fit into an aircraft jump seat harness which measures 106cm across the lap and 157cm from shoulder to waist
  • Fit and able to pass a medical assessment or currently hold an EU EASA Cabin Crew Medical
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Able to swim 25m without any assistance, and climb into a life raft from the water
  • Have the right to work in the country where the role is based and will provide upon request, proof of Right to Work in the relevant country
  • Must hold a EEA passport that allows you to travel freely to all our destinations without restriction
  • Hold GCSE grades A*-C or 9-4 in both English and Mathematics
  • Live within 90 minutes of your chosen base and be prepared to make this journey every day, at any time of the day
  • Have no previous flying experience as Cabin Crew
  • Confident in a customer-facing role, preferably with previous experience of working with customers
  • Have no visible tattoos or body piercing that can't be covered discreetly
  • A verifiable five-year activity history for referencing purposes
  • To obtain an aircrew ID, you'll also need to supply us with a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC)
  • It's essential that you have a valid email address and internet connection so you can receive your monthly roster and associated changes electronically
  • A motivation to learn and develop in the role
