Job description

Diamond Aero SRL, a leading Flying Approved Training Organization based in Roma, Italy, is currently searching for a Continuing Airworthiness Engineer to support the operations of its training and Customer fleet.

Your responsibilities and duties:

  • Monitoring, evaluation and administration of Airworthiness Directives (AD’s), EASA SIB’s and national requirements,
  • Evaluation and administration of Service Bulletins (SB’s) and other manufacturer documents,
  • Assessment of maintenance manuals and updating of maintenance requirements;
  • Development and amendment of the aircraft maintenance programs;
  • Incorporating new maintenance requirements into the fleet management software;
  • Short, Mid and Long-term maintenance planning;
  • Maintenance coordination and control;
  • Ensuring that all required maintenance on aircraft is arranged for, carried out and properly released;
  • Checking of work reports issued by maintenance organizations;
  • Communication with OEM’s for related technical subjects;
  • Updating and management of aircraft technical records;
  • Managing of “Aircraft-on-Ground” (AOG) situations;
  • Administration of applicable occurrence reports.

Your qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a continuing airworthiness role in a CAMO or MRO environment;
  • Knowledge of applicable EASA regulations, in particular of Part M and Part 145;
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills;
  • Possess the ability to interface and negotiate effectively with customers when required
  • Knowledge of English is a must;
  • Be familiar with and competent in using Microsoft Office package
  • Advantageous: knowledge of AMOS or other industry-standard fleet management and MRO software
