B1/B2 LICENSED AIRCRAFT ENGINEER

Salary: ?40,000 +

Location: Doncaster

OVERVIEW:

An exciting opportunity for B1/B2 licensed Aircraft Engineer for a fantastic international company with a lots of work upcoming, a strong existing client base and opportunities for travel and progression.

THE ROLE:

?Identifying and correcting malfunctioning jet, turboprop, and reciprocating multi-engine aircraft mechanical components and systems.

?Performing annual and progressive inspections as well as modification work on customer aircraft.

?Performing a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more jet and/or turboprop, aircraft models to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer.

?Checking, correcting or replacing a variety of complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, and optional equipment installations.

?Repairs or replaces engine components and accessory items such as fuel control units, fuel injection system, air bleed system, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic and vacuum pumps.

?Providing clear, concise and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and in parts identification for issue and return documents.

?Conducts functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests and alignment, including preventative maintenance

?Using tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, and a variety of hand tools to repair and modify systems or assemblies

THE CANDIDATE:

?Thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems and components

?Must hold EASA B1 license OR EASA B2 license

?Hawker 750,800XP,850XP,900XP qualifications required or any other Textron aviation type rating on B1 license (as a minimum at least 1 type rating on B1 license) OR

?C525C, C750, B90 or Hawker 750,800XP,850XP,900XP qualifications required or any other Textron aviation type rating on B2 license, or as a minimum at least 1 type rating on B2 license

?Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments necessary to perform job assignments

?Professional manner and experience of working in a customer service environment

?Experience on Business aviation
