AIRCRAFT SEALER/SEALANT


Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Sealants will have the primary mandate to perform sealant application as part of the aircraft manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform sealing in the aircrafts wing tank currently on the production line
  • Work from various drawings and works orders and respect the schedule
  • Use a wide range of hand tools and equipment properly
  • Respect the safety rules at all times
  • Ensure the windows sealing when installed on aircrafts’ parts and barks
  • Proceed to brush sealing, liner sealing and liner sealing capsules
  • Ensure that the sealer application complies with the client’s required standards
  • Ensure the staff training for this task

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the aerospace sector
  • High school or professional diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read drawings or blueprints is required
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and good working method to detect an assembly error
  • Ability to work under pressure and ability to work in a constant evolving and changing environment
  • Team player and good communicator
  • Flexibility relating to work shift (day, evening, night, weekend)
