Job description

Purpose of the position:

The Pilot Recruitment Manager is responsible for the oversight of pilot recruitment and job placement. This position ensures all crewmembers fit within our company culture and have the necessary skills to perform their duties. This position reports directly to the Head of Crew Resources and follows instructions of Cadet Program Manager.


  • Responsible for recruitment efforts from initial sourcing, screening and testing to offer acceptance, for all cadet programs
  • Participates on captain and first officer recruitment events, if needed
  • Execute recruitment and sourcing activities, including but not limited to: active resume database searches, job fairs, schools, industry networking, advertisements, internet posting, social media, employment agencies and employee referrals for cadets
  • Develops new recruiting sources
  • Schedule interviews, assessment events, conduct interviews and evaluate applicants
  • Establish and maintain recruitment KPIs for cadet programs
  • Coordinate all communication with candidates and provide excellent candidate care throughout the recruiting and pre and post interviewing activities
  • Participate in identifiyng recruiting needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments
  • Assist with identifying and addressing existing and emerging recruitment gaps
  • Lead and participate in pilot recruitment and or cadet program related projects and programs
  • University Degree
  • Min 3 years working experience
  • Able to work in a team oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with all phases of the recruitment life-cycle
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet established targets, and work within critical milestones
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal/written, and presentation), organizational, evaluation, and negotiation skills
  • Must be self-disciplined, structured, possess follow-up
  • Must be able to travel
