Job description
B1 Licensed Engineer "Flying Spanner" (B757 RB211) - Fixed Term Contract - UK based with worldwide travel.

Shorterm Group have a requirement for an experienced EASA B1 Licensed Engineer with EASA P145 approval on the B757 RB211.

The role will include providing line support/flying spanner ona fixed term contract until June 2020.

The role will be to support the operation of the aircraft from minor and when required major maintenance as well as Project Manage resolution of complex technical issues with OEM support.

This will involve travelling with the aircraft, preparing the aircraft for flight and post flight,working with the Flight Crew. The role would also require a positive interface with VIP passengers.

The Engineer will be required to work closely with continuing airworthiness management and in conjunction with fleet Management.

The tours will travel around the world for 3 weeks at a time. The roster would be published well in advance and be on a basis of 3 weeks on tour and around 3 weeks in the UK.

Experience required:

B1 Licensed engineer with B(Apply online only)RB211 type ratings

Ability to maintain CRS approval for ETOPS release of B(Apply online only)

Understanding of Part m requirements

Ability to interpret regulatory and technical documents

Prepared to travel extensively and spend long periods away from home.

Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide superior service on board to VIP passengers.

Minimum 1 years' experience within Engineering roles in VIP operation

Minimum of 2 years' experience Certifying Engineer on B757
