Job description

Responsibilities

• Respond to myIDTravel queries in a timely manner

• Manage and configure accordingly staff profiles via myIDTravel as per all requests received

• Perform manual refunds for myIDTravel bookings

• Test and implement myIDTravel agreements with our partners

• Liaise closely with revenue management department to ensure Blue Air routes/fares are displayed correctly within myIDTravel

• Log in, follow-up and conclude work items via myIDTravel’s service support tool - EMMiLY

• Process employee travel requests on offline carriers based on IATA Resolution 788

• Design and maintain regular reporting dashboards centered around Blue Air’s routes, competitors and commercial agreements with other airline partners

• Generate both online and offline connectivity reports through OAG Connections Analyser and investigate relevant data to make informed decisions by delivering key commercial objectives

• Assist with general administration duties

Blue Air is now recruiting a Junior Interline Officer to assist the Alliance and Network Development team with day to day tasks and projects for the business. This is a crucial role, which requires customer experience, analytical and problem solving skills, intercultural and interpersonal skills as well as strong attention to detail. You will manage Blue Air’s staff travel platform – myIDTravel – and the internal communication with our colleagues. Additionally, you will be involved in the comprehensive process of establishing new commercial partnerships with other airlines partners, while monitoring all the agreements regularly to minimize adverse impact on Blue Air revenue.

Skills

• Recent graduate in relevant areas, such as business administration, airline or airport studies or international management; or an extraordinary and gifted person with the right skill set

• Verbal and written communication is essential and expected with external parts, primarily with the vendor (myIDTravel), but also with other airlines and governing bodies such as ZED MIBA Forum or IATA • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Knowledge of aviation environment

• Fluency in English

• Excellent understanding of market research techniques and statistics

• Strong familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work in a team environment, but also to undertakes his/her duties with little supervision

• Intercultural and interpersonal communication skills
