Tactical Air Support Air Services deploys advanced aircraft operated by experienced fighter and attack pilots to U.S. military installations and detachment sites in support of Navy, Marine Corp, Air Force, and Army individual unit, wing, and weapons school level training and combat deployment training cycles.

Tactical Air Support is seeking ADAIR Pilots with an assignment to the U.S. Navy 4th Gen Adversary contract, operating TTactical Air Support's F-5E/F Advanced Technology (AT) fighter in support of combat airborne adversary training services for the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) and Carrier Airwing Strike Training with the Naval Air Warfare Development Center (NAWDC).

Successful candidates will receive initial or transition training in Tactical Air Support's F-5E/F AT fighter aircraft in Reno, NV prior to assignment with the contract program.

This position is located at the Naval Air Station in Fallon, Nevada. Fallon is a small agricultural community and “Navy Town” of nearly 9,000 residents in the Nevada desert, approximately 55 miles east of Reno, Nevada. Fallon offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, the arts, shops, and special events year-round. The Reno/Sparks area, with a population of over 400,000, is a thriving, growing community nestled along the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Reno and the surrounding area offer a variety of arts and entertainment, an eclectic restaurant scene, and unlimited recreational activities.

The ideal candidate for the ADAIR Pilot position will be professional, highly-productive, and responsive to the needs of the company, its DoD customers, and colleagues. This position will be accountable to the respective Program Chief Pilot for the effective and safe conduct of assigned TacAir flights and will operate company-owned aircraft in support of combat airborne training services to the U.S. military customers. PICs may be assigned to fly in any of the company’s aircraft and will be expected to travel as needed to support contract requirements.

  • Requisite fighter/attack aircraft flight and tactical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and projects.
  • Ability to cross-train into other aircraft.
  • Ability to read, listen to, and understand information and ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Regular travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. will be required.
  • Current U.S. government Secret Security Clearance or higher required.

The successful candidate for this position must be able to travel to and relocate to Reno, Nevada or the surrounding area. Tactical Air Support will not provide reimbursement for travel or relocation expenses.
