Job description

xpand your professional success as an AIT Technician and realize your visions together with ARTS. In your future position you will be responsible for the integration of thermal components and sensors on space components and structures at our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Immenstaad.

Task description

  • Collaboration in the system integration of satellites, satellite subsystems and components in the field of "Mechanical Integration
  • Integration of mechanical components on satellite structures
  • Alignment of mechanical assemblies by using the "shimming process
  • Integration of thermal components and sensors on space components and structures
  • Preparation of integration and test procedures as well as the provision of the required drawing documents
  • Creation of integration and test protocols
  • Execution of qualification and acceptance tests in the field of mechanical and thermal verification of satellites, satellite components and structures
  • Participation in test and satellite launch campaigns


    • Completed technical vocational training, e.g. in electrical engineering/electronics
    • Several years of professional experience in the fields of electrical engineering/electronics, mechanics, metrology and satellite integration
    • Practical experience with measurement data analysis and measurement data evaluation desirable
    • Knowledge of standard mechanical procedures in the aerospace industry
    • Technical understanding and experience in development projects
    • Safe handling of MS Office and SAP
    • Fluent in German and English
