Job description

The Junior Treasury and Payments Manager reports to the Treasury Manager and is overall responsible for coordinating cash management and payments as well as risk management related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Cash management and payments:
    • responsible for uploading payment files into the payment system
    • manage bank account related duties (account opening/closing, account documentations, issues)
    • customer compensation and supplier payments
    • weekly cash and treasury reporting
    • operational relationship management with banking partners across Wizz network
  • Risk management:
    • participation in preparing regular Management and Board reports
    • responsible for hedge related documentations, contracts
    • participation in new partner setup process
    • participation in updating Treasury processes and related documentation
  • Proactively propose and implement operational improvement activities in the above responsibilities and systems
  • Contribute to and assist Line Manager on various ad-hoc projects as and when required
  • Responsibility to ensure completeness of outstanding daily tasks by the team, and highlighting To Line Manager any unresolved issues
Requirements
  • University/college degree in finance, accounting area
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in a multinational corporate environment
  • Experience and knowledge on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Great business communication skills, excellent command of English
  • Experience in cash management and/or treasury operations is an advantage
  • Good knowledge on payment systems, single bank platforms preferable but not essential
  • Dynamic personality with proactive, positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Highly numerate, analytical and attention to detail is crucial
  • Ability to work under pressure and cope with conflicting demands
  • Flexibility and team working skills
