Job description

On behalf of our airline client in the Caribbean, we are recruiting a Maintenance Controller.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Forecasting and planning of scheduled maintenance events for both aircraft and components
  • Oversight for the preparation of work packages and requisitioning of parts, tooling and specialized services for scheduled maintenance
  • Control and rectification planning for deferred defects
  • Control of technical data currency and its distribution
  • Coordinating the return to service of un-airworthy aircraft
  • The review of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins and presentation of recommendations regarding these documents
  • Oversight of technical records team to ensure aircraft and component configuration control is correctly recorded.
  • Liaising with aircraft operator with regards to aircraft serviceability and maintenance requirements
  • Liaising with Original Equipment Manufacturers regarding technical matters
  • Liaising with regulatory authorities regarding airworthiness matters
  • Periodic review and revision of operator and fleet maintenance documents including Maintenance Control Manual (MCM), Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP) and Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL)
  • Administration and review of fleet reliability program
Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current ICAO type II AMEL
  • Large Turboprop or Regional Jet experience (desirable)
  • Current with HF & EWIS training (desirable)
  • A minimum 5 years in Continuing Airworthiness and Technical Services roles
  • A minimum of 3 years working on regional aircraft types
  • A minimum of 5 years as an ICAO Type II AMEL holder
  • Previous experience with RAAS maintenance software (Highly Regarded)

  • Positioning Flight: 50% expense of a flight ticket to the base provided

In case of away from the normal base to conduct duties:

  • Per diem: $50/ day
  • Accommodation + Transportation: Provided
