Brookfield is having amazing opportunity: the recruitment of Manager Flight Crew Training - B737 experienced Postholder.

  • Airline profile: cargo charter operations - maintenance
  • Contract period: 3 years
  • Remuneration (after 1 yr): USD16,873 per month
  • Benefits: Flight pay + salary increase + Housing allowance + Transport allowance + Communication allowance
  • Leave entitlement: 63 calendar days (inclusive of Public Holidays)
  • Leave Travel Allowance: Round trip business class to place of employment for self and spouse once per year

Requirements
  • Experience: Previous Flight Operations management experience preferably in a training role.
  • Licence type: ATPL - FAA, EASA, ICAO
  • Minimum total flying hours: 5000hrs
  • Qualifications: TRI or higher
  • Ratings: B737 Classic and NG.
  • Minimum hours on type: 3000hrs on Multi-pilot aircraft, 2000hrs on either the NG or the Classic or a combination of both.
  • ICAO English language level: Minimum 5
  • Currency: Ideal – current on Classic and NG | preferable – current on NG, acceptable – current on Classic.

Position Description:

  1. In conjunction with the Chief Pilot, assist the Director of Flight Operations with the establishment of Flight Operations standards
  2. Responsibility for the company training policy and for the training of all pilots, dispatchers and Additional Crew Members (ACM’s).
  3. Compliance with the ANTR’s and the company manuals in regards to training and competency assessment activity.
  4. Developing training requirements in respect of both initial and continuation training on type.
  5. Specifying the training syllabi for all the Company’s flight operations roles
  6. Issuing of training approvals including approval of training personnel, training devices, and training programmes
  7. Maintain a close liaison with the BCAA on training and competency assessment issues.
  8. Ensure all records and data relating to training and competency are kept up to date.
  9. Organise such external training as may be required including negotiating contracts for the provision of simulator services.
  10. The supervision of all training staff in checking and competency assessment matters.
  11. Ensuring Flight Crew Training and Standards manual (OM-D) is developed/amended as required.
  12. Administer the company quality system processes within allocated areas of responsibility.
  13. Provide regular communication and feedback to staff on training issues.
  14. Develop an annual training plan and amend as required from time to time.
  15. Develop an annual training budget – both operational and capital.
  16. Recommend changes in training procedures that will enhance the overall efficiency and safety of Flight Operations.
  17. Performing the duties of a Line Captain including Line checking and training.
