Reports to: Head of Training (HoT)
Location: Heraklion, Crete, Greece
Job Summary:
Provide PPL/ATPL(A) theoretical instruction duties in accordance with EASA regulations and the Academy’s approved training Manuals and Cretan Eagle Aviation (CEA) policies and/or procedures. Schedule/Coordinate students, maintain records, and ensure that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each student in each theoretical course.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Perform those theoretical instructor duties in accordance with the approved CEA Training Courses Manuals
· Responsible for accurately maintaining all appropriate records including student training record and computer records
· Ensure that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by all assigned students as stipulated in Training Courses Manuals
· Responsible for the timely course completion of all students assigned, including completion of required paperwork
· Attend administrative, standardization, internal training, and instructor development meetings as required
· Provide assistance and/or other relevant supporting materials to students of various levels of experience, ability, and background.
Profile:
· Must hold an EASA ATPL Theory completion or relative Academic certificate
· Ideal ATPL Theory instruction experience.
· Must hold an ICAO English level (ELP) at least level 5
· Higher education / College degree in Aviation and / or management will be an advantage
· Must have strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
· Must have basic Computer’s skills (MS-Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Right to live and work as a contractor within EU
Productivity and Performance:
· Should have the ability to perform an average of 4 PPL/ATPL(A) Theoretical subjects
· Should be able to maintain 80% pass rate for training sessions and stage checks
· Availability: Immediate
