ALG has a great opportunity for a Storeperson to join a well-established commercial organisation based at Brisbane Airport. The position will give the successful candidate the chance to enter and or expand their exposure to the aviation industry working with a major commercial airline.

Base hourly pay rate of $33 + Super.

This contract has no end date and successful candidates would be working on a Monday to Friday Pattern. Working hours will alternate between 0700 to 1500 one week and 1500 to 2300 the following week. Strong performers may have the opportunity to convert to a full time (permanent) role with our client in the future.

Some of the main responsibilities of the position are:

• Conducting operations utilising a forklift.
• Receiving and dispatching of goods.
• Managing work orders.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of orders, suppliers, and customers.
• Drive airside delivering stock/equipment to the required teams (training provided).
• Overseeing warehouse stock levels and placing orders as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience in a storeperson/warehouse role (2 years minimum).
• Hold a forklift licence (mandatory).

• Ability to work autonomously.
• A proven eye for detail & accurate reporting.
• Experience in documentation control and compliance management.
• Strong time management skills.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Willing to undergo a background security check (ASIC).
• Willing to comply with medical requirement (drug/alcohol).
• Strong attention to details, ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrate full compliance will all work rules and regulation.
