Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician for Arajet will be responsible for the on-time maintenance execution on the Arajet Fleet using all the manufacturers and internal applicable procedures which comply with the local authority regulations to provide safe and reliable maintenance services. These functions include the use of Arajet´s Maintenance Information System, internal reporting to the Maintenance Leaders and/or Managers, and any continuous improvement actions that can be identified by the coworker.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance, disassembling, replacement, reworking, repairs, and rectification of diverse aircraft systems with their components according to engineering instructions, technical specifications, and regulations.
Perform preventive maintenance activities, implement Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) special technical instructions and perform on-demand maintenance activities to ensure smooth functioning and minimise down time.
Check and execute the work orders which are planned to be performed during the applicable maintenance shifts according to the shift leader and maintenance manager’s instructions to ensure smooth functioning and minimise down time.
Understand and interpret service bulletins, maintenance manuals and other specifications to ascertain the feasibility and techniques of replacing or repairing faulty or damaged components.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of maintenance systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Operate within the maintenance team, embracing teamwork to collectively achieve high performance standards in the execution of financial tasks.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in the aviation industry (in maintenance roles) with 3 years’ experience in the B737NG Fleet (mandatory) and/or a minimum of 1-year experience in the B737MAX Fleet (preferable).
Familiarity with domestic and regional context and local regulation.
Ability to work on daily and night rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with the team, management, colleagues, and external suppliers in English.
Excellent standard of Spanish (written, conversational and comprehension).
Proficiency in English (written, conversational and comprehension).
Good computer literacy.
