Key Responsibilities

The Technical Records and Configuration (TRC) is accountable for ensuring safe storage of the complete set of compliance related records, including aircraft and asset documents and technical maintenance records; ensuring aircraft configuration and component usage data in the Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) system are accurate to demonstrate compliance, preserve asset value and supporting a cost effective aircraft redelivery process.

Lead Engineer is responsible for:
 

  • Ensuring Technical Records and Configuration team and supplier’s procedural manual and SOP is followed and up-to-dated to meet Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD), International Air Transport Association (IATA) or any other authorities’ requirements.
  • Ensuring technical maintenance records and data is provided and updated by TRC or contracted suppliers such as Maintenance and Repair Organization (MRO) in timely manner and per the contractual requirements, and follow-up their performance lag as necessary.
  • Ensuring aircraft configurations setup in M&E system is setup and updated timely and accurately per written policy.
  • Leading and coordinating internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational exceptional issue whenever raised.   
  • Ensuring all technical documents and records are prepared and delivered per aircraft re-delivery schedule and requirement to eliminate potential cost exposure due to incomplete or late maintenance records building.  
  • Driving and encouraging the team for continuous improvement to streamline processes, improve quality and enhance productivity efficiency.
  • Assisting Technical Records and Configurations Manager in leading, coaching and developing the junior team members to ensure their understanding of roles and responsibilities, engineering procedures and processes, and legislative requirements.

Requirements:

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Licence is preferred
  • Typically 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in aspects of aircraft maintenance,
  • records and compliance requirements
  • Experience of leading and delivering business process improvement.
  • Experience in leading a team of engineer
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
