CERTIFICATION ENGINEER PART 21J

We are currently looking for a Certification Engineer Part 21J for one of our clients in Madrid on a permanent basis.

About the role

The Certification Engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the Part 21 J Organisation such as:

• Ensure the adequacy and consistency of compliance demonstration documents
• Guarantee that activities subject to approval are prepared in compliance with the certification and environmental protection requirements as required by Part 21
• Support transversal areas and stakeholders such as manufacturing, production, and procurement
• Attend working Party phases / Installations on A/C
• Assist CVEs in compliance verification activities
• Report to the Project Certification Coordinator with the progress of certification activities
• Report to the Head of Independent System Monitoring any issues impacting the Design Organization

Requirements:

Requirements

• Aeronautical Engineering Degree
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a DOA, participating in design and certification activities (cabin safety, structures and or avionics) working on Airbus and/or Boeing
• Experience working on aircraft and conducting aircraft surveys is a plus
• Able to travel to global destinations according to the project requirements
• Fluency in English is required, other languages are a plus
• Proficiency in MS office
• Experience with CAD tools packages such as AUTO-CAD, Fusion 360
