The mission of the role is to ensure continuity and control of the company's operational processes, together with synchronizing the work of the existing AOCs.

Location: EU (hybrid manner)

1. Main tasks for this position:

Integration and Alignment of SkyUp UA and SkyUp Malta Operations:

• Develop a comprehensive plan to seamlessly integrate the operations of SkyUp UA and SkyUp Malta.
• Establish effective communication channels and ensure smooth coordination between the two entities.
• Implement standardized processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Coordination of SkyUp MT and SkyUp UA Operations:

• Facilitate regular meetings and communication channels between the management teams of SkyUp MT and SkyUp UA.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing to align operational strategies and goals.
• Establish joint working groups to address any operational challenges and ensure harmonious functioning between the two entities.

Effective Use of Company Resources Control:

• Implement robust systems and processes to monitor and control the efficient utilization of company resources, including financial, human, and operational assets.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify areas of resource wastage or inefficiency and develop strategies to optimize resource allocation.
• Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track resource utilization and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and promote a culture of resource consciousness among employees.
• Continuously review and optimize operational workflows to maximize productivity and minimize resource waste.

Ensuring Viability, Growth, and Stability:

• Promote and maintain a safe and productive corporate environment to enhance the airline's overall performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to support the sustainable growth of SkyUp.
• Continuously assess market trends, customer demands, and competition to identify opportunities for business expansion and improvement.

Project Implementation Oversight within the Scope of Responsibility:

• Monitor and track the progress of projects within the assigned areas of responsibility.
• Provide necessary guidance and resources to project teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Conduct regular reviews to evaluate project outcomes, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures as needed.

Compliance with Corporate Requirements and Work Standards:

• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Establish a robust compliance framework to monitor and enforce regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address any compliance gaps.

Search and Implementation of Best Practices and Emerging Trends:

• Engage in ongoing research and analysis to identify industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of adopting new practices within the airline's operations.
• Implement innovative approaches and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Management experience from 5 years in the field of civil aviation (Europe)  
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans 
• Understanding of corporate finance and performance indicators  
• Understanding of personnel management processes  
• Knowledge and skills in project management  
• Leadership qualities 
• Critical thinking, problem solving skills, ability to analyze information and draw conclusions 
• Ability to achieve established results in situations of uncertainty and resource constraints 
• Growth mindset  
• English language knowladge at the Upper-Intermediate level and above
