Job description

On behalf of our client, a well-established aviation services company in Dubai, we are now recruiting a Charter Sales Executive/Manager.

This role would be ideal for an experienced charter sales professional with a strong aviation industry background and existing contacts within the GCC market, a proven track record in VIP, Cargo & Commercial charter sales, and who wants to build a charter sales team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management:

  • Set-up, manage and grow the sales department.
  • Establish and implement department policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, mentor and manage the sales team.
  • Liaise with Management to establish best practice and sustainable expansions.

Business Development:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Provide support in the preparation of business development forecasts and budgets.
  • Develop and execute dynamic sales strategies to stimulate business development and
  • growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities to generate new sales leads, achieve and maximize sales targets.
  • Increase market share, sales revenue, and profitability.
  • Compile customer profiling to identify potential sales opportunities for each business segment: -
    • VIP Charter / Group / Corporate Charter / Cargo / Medivac / Air Ambulance, etc.
    • Long-term commercial contracts for Oil & Gas / Marine & Offshore industries, etc.
    • Ad-Hoc and Seasonal High Yield temporary aircraft leasing.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Dept for marketing, advertising, promotional and social
  • media support.
  • Identify possible partner alliances or collaborations.
  • Actively source new procurement bids and tenders
  • Manage and execute such proposals and reply as per management’s instruction and/or company policy.
  • Negotiate annual contracts and pricing with vendors.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with top decision makers and prospective customers.
  • Develop close relationships with aircraft operators, companies, individuals, sports clubs, etc.

Sales:

  • Be the first point of contact for all clients.
  • Generate new leads, increase, and maximize sales revenue.
  • Manage and coordinate all sales activities.
  • Manage and coordinate all sales enquiries & charter requests.
  • Actively set up customer meetings, site visits, conduct cold calling, email company introduction
  • Collect all flight requirements, coordinate with respective dep, operational coordinator, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and send charter quotations, follow up, and finalize charter agreements.
  • Update and coordinate with Operations Dept. for all clients’ flight requirements
  • Liaise with Officer Manager/Finance to issue client’s invoices, statement of accounts and payment confirmations.
  • Compile monthly sales reports and forecasts.
  • Establish B2B / B2C potential customer and existing clients’ database.
  • Enter data to the centralized CRM system (Hubspot), maintain and update contacts and data regularly.
  • Remain current on company & competitor product offerings, aircraft, regional charter pricing, and travel trends.

Post-Sale & Customer Service:

  • Build customer confidence and loyalty.
  • Build and nurture local and international client relationships.
  • Manage customer complaints, file incident reports, investigate, provide feedback to management & customer.
  • Conduct and manage Post Flight Customer Surveys, reviews, and feedback. Share such feedback with internal management, marketing, and other relevant parties.
  • Act as the point of contact between customers and flight operation.
  • Manage the 24/7 duty mobile phone and respond to incoming calls.

Reporting & Financials:

  • Consistent, quality reporting and analysis, reflecting forecasts and actual sales transactions.
  • Preparation of monthly consolidated client accounts and reports
  • Monitor the Charter Sales team to ensure all flight reports in terms of financials are updated.
  • Monitor clients’ accounts and pending payments.
  • Monitor assigned accounts and keep good communication with key contacts.
  • Manager and conduct daily stand-up meetings with the sales team.
  • Attend weekly Sales Meetings with CEO, and other management team members.

Job Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in Air Charter Sales..
  • A strong background and existing network in the Aviation Industry in the GCC region is mandatory.
  • Must have a proven track record in VIP, Cargo, Commercial Charter Sales.

  • Good MS Office skills, including Excel, and other sales tools & software/apps.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills are mandatory.
  • Must have a valid driving license.
