Job description

On behalf of our aircraft maintenance client in Basel, we are recruiting a Quality Assurance Inspector.

 

POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in accordance with applicable procedure as per Company DOE, POE, MOE, CAME and other Company Specification.
  • Ensure adequate communication and liaison internally and especially within the Quality Assurance Team, Maintenance, and the Production Team.
  • Liaise, support, and attend audits of authorities and establish audit checklists.
  • Review and amend Organisation Expositions, Capability List, Procedures (Handbooks, Process Specification, Technical Instructions) and Forms.
  • Provide a continuous detailed account of the overall current quality status.

KEY POSITION ACTIVITIES:

  • Preparation and performance of internal training and briefing sessions related to internal procedures and other technical subjects.
  • Preparation und update of company manuals procedures.
  • Support to the Maintenance, Production, Design Organisation and CAMO regarding application, extension and renewal of Maintenance Licences, Internal Authorisations.
  • Act as Quality Inspector for the Production, Maintenance, Design and CAMO Organisation.
  • Act as Internal Quality Auditor.
  • Support the Manager QA and the Director QA in administrative and organisational aspects, for the issuance, renewal, or changes of Approval Certificates.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Several years of practical experience within the aviation environment.
  • Active / former holder of Aircraft Maintenance Licence preferably.
  • Several years of experience in functions related to quality assurance and / or Quality inspection.
  • Auditing experience.
  • Detailed knowledge about EASA Regulations Part 145, Part M-CAMO and / or Part 21 Subpart G-J and Guidance Materials.
  • Ability to establish and write handbooks, procedures, technical instructions and audit-reports.
