Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aviation Maintenance Safety Specialist to ensure the safety of our aircraft maintenance operations. The candidate will work closely with our maintenance teams to identify and implement safety procedures, provide safety training, and support continued improvement of our safety management system (SMS).
• Bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance or a related field. • Five years or more of experience in aviation maintenance safety, including knowledge of FAA regulations and safety management systems. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with teams across various departments. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify hazards and recommend improvements to the SMS. • Familiarity with aviation maintenance procedures and technologies.
