Job description

It's worth changing! Helvetic Airways operates the 3rd youngest fleet in Europe. It is operating the most modern regional aircraft, the Embraer E2, with the environmentfriendly engines of the manufacturer Pratt & Whitney.

 

Duties and Responsabilities

 

The Licensed Aircraft Engineer is responsible for:

  • Carrying out maintenance work (Line & Base Maintenance) such as functional checks, installation and removal of components, repairs, servicing, troubleshooting including fixing and carrying out the corrective maintenance actions in accordance with the valid documentation, the valid regulations, procedural and work instructions.
  • Certification of the proper completion of maintenance work.
  • Temporary assignment to maintenance stations in Switzerland and abroad and AOG support
  • Taking over special tasks / substitutions

Requirements:

Candidates must have

  • EASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 license. Embraer E190 is a benefit
  • Work experience in line/base maintenance
  • Willingness to work in shift pattern Full shift duty capability
  • Willingness for short-term assignments stations in Switzerland and abroad
  • Swiss or EU citizen with valid work permit
  • Decision taking skills even under time pressure
  • Communication skills within a multi-cultural team
  • Solution and result oriented work method
  • Team player with ambition to take the lead
  • Good knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken)
  • Full driving license
  • AMOS knowledge is a benefit
  • Flexible, motivated and be able to work under pressure
