Tasks

You will be primarily responsible for developing mechanical/structural systems for subsonic/supersonic and hypersonic flights. You will be a part of our engineering team and interact with all engineering disciplines to resolve new issues as they arise. It is the unique project with the unique opportunities for skill and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analysis of all hydraulics systems of the hypersonic vehicle.
  • To perform analysis processes independently, in consultation with other senior engineers.
  • Collaboration with related teams.
  • New analysis tools development.
  • Work scheduling.
  • Laboratory, ground, and flight test support.
  • Analysis tools development.
  • Test program development.
  • Preparation of technical reports and presentations.
  • Continuous exchanges with suppliers.
  • Assist in the development of manufacturing, integration, and test processes and procedures.
  • Raw test data processing and analysis validation.
  • Certification and qualification process support.

Requirements

  • BS., MS., Ph.D. in an Aerospace, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in landing gear design.
  • Required experience in a Structural/ Mechanical Engineering (in Space/ Aerospace will be advantage): BS – 8 years, MS – 6 years, PhD – 4 years;
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace structural design.
  • The knowledge of material science (including material qualification) and structural mechanics.
  • Strong knowledge of shock absorber, landing gear kinematics and tire simulation.
  • Strong knowledge in MBS tools, e.g., MSC Adams and DS Simpack.
  • Good knowledge in MATLAB / Simulink and Siemens Amesim.
  • Strong experience in CAD systems including large assemblies.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace project stages.
  • Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team, as well as autonomously; and
  • The ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment are required.
  • Knowledge of the English language is required.
  • Knowledge of the French or German language is an advantage.

  • CAD tools programming and scripting.
  • Design workflow optimization.
  • Knowledge of continuum and solid mechanics.
  • Knowledge of applied mathematics and physics.
  • Understanding of hypersonic flight physics.
  • Experience of C++ / Python / MATLAB programming.
  • Experience of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis.
  • Experience of laboratory, ground, and flight test.
  • Knowledge of GVT performing.
  • Experience of CFD (Ansys Fluent, Star CCM+ etc).
  • Participation in certification process.
