  • Contributes in defining the strategic plan of the Operations and translate this into (short – term) improvement plans for Manufacturing, to ensure company strategic goals are met. Aligns the plan to day to do operations and ensures it is known to all members of the department.
  • Responsible for department budget. Accountable to achieve department KPI’s. Actively monitors the department target, goals and KPI’s. Addresses quality issues and implement fixes. Ensures packages and engines meet all criteria and specifications. Achieves 1st time right principles. Produces engines and packages within agreed time.
  • Optimize production flow by eliminating waste based on lean manufacturing principles. Initiates and executes corrective and preventive actions in case of quality deviations and unsuccessful test results.
  • Maximizes flexibility in manufacturing processes based on developing internal employability (multi-skill) also in cooperation with external manufacturing parties. For reason of manufacturing capacity flexibility and sharing knowledge in keeping up-to-date manufacturing competences
  • Takes ownership of test processes and facilities.
  • Ensures compliance to corporate policies while developing and maintaining internal department procedures.
  • Ensures that the department members are the right person in the right seat to safeguard reaching department targets, goals and KPIs. Creates and maintains a succession plan in cooperation with HR manager. Sources and brings in external competences when required.
  • Motivates and inspires all team members to work on the company’s common objectives, to take ownership, and empowers them to innovate and grow.
  • Provides performance feedback and identifies areas for growth and/or initiate improvement paths. Offers opportunities and support to help them improve their professional competencies. Leads and motivates.
  • Ensures compliance to corporate policies while developing and maintaining internal department procedures.
  • Is the face of the department in internal settings. Fosters cooperation among individuals and departments in the areas of sharing resources and information and working together accomplish company goals.


  • Educational level – Bachelor’s level or equivalent
  • 5 years of functional experience in manufacturing environment

  • 5 years of managerial experience

  • English language and communication skills (verbal and in writing) on CEFR level C1.
  • Dutch language and communication skills (verbal and in writing) on CEFR level C1.
