Swiss based Dufour Aerospace is developing an eVTOL platform based on tilt-wing technology to make future manned and unmanned electric and hybrid electric aircraft a reality. Dufour’s prototypes have already flown many hundreds of flights – both manned and unmanned. Our internship positions target students with a minimum commitment of 6 months and a potential interest in subsequently working with us.
We are seeking a Simulation Engineer with expertise in aircraft systems modeling and system identification to join our team and work on our tilt-wing aircraft simulation. In this interdisciplinary role, you will help to model various systems of the aircraft in real-time with a focus on the hybrid-electrical propulsion system. In addition, you will use flight test data to perform system identification and validation.
Working location is Altstetten ZH and Dübendorf ZH with plans to move to Dübendorf permanently towards the end of the year.
