Job description

We are excited to be accepting applications from experienced Base Maintenance Aircraft Mechanics to join one of our Clients on a permanent basis in Teesside!!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification tasks
  • Accurately record all work performed on the appropriate maintenance records such as worksheets / task cards
  • Comply with procedures detailed within the Maintenance Organisation Expositions and any associated documentation
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements
  • Actively support and promote a positive safety learning culture through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards and by adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles with their work

Requirements:

  • Aeronautical apprenticeship or recognised national qualification in aircraft maintenance
  • Minimum of 4 years aircraft maintenance experience
  • Can demonstrate a high level of skill across multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and power plant tasks
  • Knowledge of maintenance standards
  • Knowledge and ability to use aircraft maintenance data
  • Initial Human Factors (HF) training
  • Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) training
  • Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) training
