Scope/ Purpose of the Position:
The primary responsibility is to provide administrative support to the sales team and agency management in the Hong Kong, Southern China, and Southeast Asia markets. The successful candidate will also need to support trade and direct customer queries.
The successful job holder will elevate the customer experience by ensuring the needs of both our external and internal customers are fulfilled. It’s essential that the successful candidate possesses high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, be an expert user in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with excellent written and spoken English.
Key Functions & Accountabilities:

Support the local Air Canada commercial team in the following areas: preparation of reports, data analyses, presentation decks, contracts, flyers, or any materials as required and directed by the account managers both prior to, and after their sales visits.

Be the key local support in all commercial initiatives, including, but not limited to, the utilization of sales tools, promo codes, NDC adoption, Aeroplan, waivers and favours etc.

Manage and update the agency and customer CRM system through SalesForce

Independently draft and disseminate high quality market updates in a timely manner

Provide event management support including, but not limited to, Fam trips, trade seminars/webinars, subagents seminars, sales blitz, corporate events, and Destination Canada related campaigns.

Own the local Sales Support e-mail box, answering enquiries within agreed SLAs to high standards.

Oversee, gatekeep and report on groups bookings in the region.

Provide general office support including key company assets such as security passes, audit of IT equipment, branded merchandizes and general utilities of the city office.

Facilitate any ad hoc initiatives as directed by the General Manager

Qualifications

Passionate about customer service with a strong desire to elevate their Air Canada experience

Resilient and resourceful in resolving unexpected challenges

Strong willingness to acquire new skills in an ever-changing commercial environment

Previous travel industry or airline experience is preferable, though not essential

Expert user of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Excellent written and spoken English is essential

Proactivity in providing administrative support to the local sales team

Efficiency in producing high quality work within tight deadlines

Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills with an aptitude for precision

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
