Vista is expanding its Part 145 network, rebranding all facilities to ‘Vista Aircraft Maintenance’ during 2023. Our locations include Base Maintenance facilities in Farnborough (Dassault Aviation Business Services), Paris Le Bourget (Dassault Aviation Business Services), Munich (MCM Munich), Baden Baden (Air Hamburg Technik), Van Nuys (JetWorx) and Bay City (Red Wing Aircraft Maintenance) with additional Line Stations in Malta, Nice and Luton and Mobile Repair Teams in South Florida and the New York area.

 

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in Munich and report directly to the Accountable Manager.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project management of the various maintenance phases;
  • Release aircraft to service from Base Maintenance, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements, company processes and procedures, and within the scope of company approvals;
  • Define and coordinate check plans, assign work areas and human resources for timely completion of aircraft maintenance projects;
  • Liaise with Licensed Aircraft Engineers to maintain workflows and communicate with stakeholders;
  • Participate in daily activities to maintain an efficient and compliant Part145 MRO;
  • Manage Licensed Aircraft Engineers for performance and conduct;
  • Lead the workplace with enthusiasm, perseverance, positive attitude, and flexibility to complement company standards;
  • Promote a Just Culture, adhere to company Health & Safety policies, and report all incidents and occurrences through the Company Safety Management;
  • Monitor performance and provide regular briefings, guidance, and support to the team as necessary;
  • Work with Licensed Aircraft Engineers to identify impending issues and generate solutions;
  • Supervise hangar cleanliness and overall environment to maintain safety standards;
  • Assist Vista Maintenance Management with quality audits, findings containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid EASA B1 and/or B2 license with a minimum of three years active certification;
  • Deep understanding of EASA part-145 requirements and Human Factors;
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Excellent communicator, flexible, and solution-focused;
  • Excellent knowledge of the company's engineering operating systems;
  • Have the right to work in Europe without restriction;
  • Must be eligible for an airside pass;
  • Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
