Job description

Due to our ongoing A330 fleet expansion we are looking to recruit for the following new role:

 

Crew Controler

 

Accountable to: Manager Crewing

Start: Immediate

Location: Malta

 

 

The Crew Controller when on shift is responsible for the following:

 

  • Supervision of the crew roster on a day-today basis, including allocation and re-allocation, as necessary, of duties to crew members, ensuring that all changes to published crew rosters adhere to Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate (TM CAD) requirements and are in accordance with the Company Approved FTL Scheme as contained in the Operations Manual.
  • Ensuring that if any operations have taken place outside of the FTL Scheme that the details are passed to the DMOCC at the earliest opportunity.
  • Minimizing costs by utilizing aircrew as efficiently as possible on published rosters.
  • Liaison with the DMOCC with respect to the safe and efficient delivery of the flying programm

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience of working in an aviation operational environment.
  • Knowledge of EASA Flight Time Limitations.
  • Analytical skills, creative thinking, problem solving and flexible.
  • Be diligent, reliable and independent
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, to prioritize, to be proactive and stress resistant.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (other EU languages bring an advantage).
