On behalf of our client, the UK & Europe’s leading specialist in distance learning and training for EASA/UK CAA Professional Pilot’s Licence theory exams, we are recruiting a Digital Marketing Executive to be based in Clevedon (near Bristol).

Hybrid – 3 days a week in their office in Clevedon, 2 days working from home.

JOB SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for an ambitious and talented B2B/B2C digital marketer. This individual’s main aim will be to generate interest and sales of their training material and courses, and to generate high-quality B2B leads. The role requires generation of high calibre content and efficient distribution through a mainly inbound marketing approach.

This role is best suited to someone who has a good understanding of the sales cycle and the differing communication requirements at each stage. The successful candidate will be experienced at managing data, motivated to continually generate content (articles, blogs, news, website content, social media posts, etc), expert at distributing via website, email marketing, social media, press releases, SEO, and other digital marketing channels.

Experience of copywriting, basic graphic design, social media and the tools and processes needed to engage, nurture and convert a prospect would be a significant advantage. In addition, an understanding of SEO and PPC principles would be beneficial, with a desire to develop your experience in these channels further while in post.

An understanding of social media platforms, and of analytics and how they work across Google and social platforms.  You will ideally have an analytical approach and be able to report on engagement and impact.

Experience of using Mailchimp, Canva, Yoast SEO would also be beneficial.

The successful candidate will play a key role in raising the profile of our client’s business to potential B2C and B2B customers in the UK and across the world in order to sell their full range of theoretical knowledge training materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work under the direction of a Business and Communications Manager to develop and implement marketing plans to achieve the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Research the market and carry out competitive analysis to inform the sales process.
  • Efficiently generate marketing qualified leads by optimising lead generation.
  • Develop, manage and monitor high quality relevant and engaging digital content (landing pages, blog articles, email campaigns and social media content etc.).
  • Utilising Mailchimp to create, distribute and monitor effective email marketing campaigns and continually optimise lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Improve the usability, content and conversion of the company website, landing pages and micro-sites using WordPress CMS.
  • Implement, analyse, and optimise organic and paid search engine marketing activities.
  • Set up and monitor digital reports to analyse performance monthly.
  • To undertake any other duties that may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in a marketing role (E)
  • Educated to degree level, a marketing degree or CIM qualification would be desirable but not essential. (D)
  • Good B2C and B2B campaign experience. (E)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs (E)
  • Experience of creating effective campaigns across digital media and using Google Analytics to evidence impact. (E)
  • Experience of using Google Analytics, Google Ads (search/video/display), Meta Business Suite and Linkedin Advertising to generate sales and leads. (E)
  • Experience of generating a multi-channel lead generation campaign with tangible results. (E)
  • Experience of setting up, running and reporting on PPC campaigns or working with an agency who does this (D)
  • Experience of executing email marketing campaigns and reporting on success. (D)
  • Experience of creating and updating online content and imagery for website, including landing pages (D)

LOCATION:

  • The role will be based 3 days per week at their office in Clevedon, North Somerset. The other two days will be based from home (usually a Thursday and Friday).
  • Normal office hours for the sales and marketing team are 8:30am – 4:30pm, with some flexibility.
  • Free parking is available on site.

OFFER:

  • Full-time
  • £21,000 – £25,000/year
