Job description

Tasks

YOUR MISSION

  • Generate test results fulfilling acceptable means of compliance of aviation regulations.
  • Plan, define, execute, post-process and evaluate integration and qualification tests.
  • Lead the test campaigns and act as a focal point for external test and lab personnel.
  • Define test strategy, campaigns and procedures in line with the development process.
  • Define and coordinate test environment specifications, logistics, integration, validation, and operation.
  • Lead integration and instrumentation of the device under test as well as data acquisition and processing.
  • Coordinate cooperation with external organizations, e.g. labs, companies, local authorities.
  • Contribution to support processes such as change, problem, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations as to personal safety, equipment, and installation protection as well as the environment.
  • Plan, monitor and control respective work packages and communicate internally and externally.

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

  • Engineering degree in the field of Aerospace Engineering or similar, e.g. Electrical / Automotive Engineering. A qualified electrician (“Elektrofachkraft”) would be a plus.
  • Substantial experience in HV electric storage system testing, ideally in the field of electric mobility.
  • Excellent knowledge of the V&V process, test management, measurement principles, data acquisition.
  • A broad network of the test bench and measurement equipment and test SW tool suppliers.
  • Extensive professional expertise in CAD, requirements and test management tools, e.g. Siemens NX / Altair Hyperworks / Solidworks, IBM DOORS / Siemens Polarion, Razorcat ITE.
  • Passionate team player characterized by an open mindset, proactive sense of responsibility, active information sharing and willingness to help.
  • Working nature is characterized by self-initiative, solution orientation, and eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Language skills: English (fluent) is a must. German would be a plus.
