Role Introduction

Reports to: Assistant Manager – Hub Operations

As a Hub Operation Lead, you will be responsible to strive to provide services exceeding customers’ expectation, control cost effectively and ensure performance meets relevant KPIs. By engaging airport facilitation and service providers to ensure HKIA Hub operations are running smoothly, enable efficient and hassle free on both passenger and baggage connectivity, ensure to comply safety and security mandates.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor ground handling activities on loading, fueling, catering; security/safety rules compliance before dispatching CX flights.     
  • Disseminate flight and operations information to internal and external operations parties.
  • Act as the key coordination point with IOC with regard to flight operations issues and coordinate with respective Control Offices to facilitate running of HKIA ground handling operations.
  • Coordinate daily operations with key stakeholders and AA in IAC (Integrated Airport Centre) to facilitate smooth passenger journey.
  • Monitor and communicate with service providers to review the performance for improvement.
  • Monitor online connection of inbound flights to ensure a smooth transfer experience.
  • Carry out CMI (Continuous Monitoring Inspection) to ensure safe operations that meet expected service levels.

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer knowledge and aptitude for PC an advantage.
  • Good standard of spoken/written English.
  • Strong analytical, good problem solving.
