DIRECT ENTRY CAPTAIN NON-TYPE RATED / with UK CAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)

TYPE RATING REQUIREMENTS
If you would like to join our Flight Crew team as a Non-Type Rated pilot, please, take into consideration that you will need to have a valid IR on any other than A320 type. If you have a valid IR A320 you can apply for our Type Rated pilot positions.

- License needed: EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- 35 bases in 14 European countries: Albania, Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia.
WAAD: Wizz Air Abu Dhabi:
- License needed: EASA/UK CAA/GCAA/ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)

AOC can be chosen during application process, please respect the license type requirements for each AOC (otherwise your application will be automatically rejected).

- Pre-screening - Our Pilot Recruitment Team reviews your application to see if your profile matches the current development plans of our network.
- Pilot Recruitment Assessment (2 days) - As a next step you will be invited to our face-to-face Pilot Recruitment Assessment including various types of evaluations. Further details on the event will always be shared with you prior to the assessment in order to support your preparation. Assessments take place in London, Budapest and Abu Dhabi depending on a chosen AOC.

REQUIREMENTS
To be able to join big Wizz Air team as a Non-Type Rated Direct Entry Capitan WUK, please see below the requirement for successful applying:
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK;
- Valid UK CAA Airline Transport Pilot License;
- Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical Certificate;
- Valid Instrument Rating (IR) on any type;
- ICAO 4/5/6 English proficiency;
- Minimum 3,500 factorized hours;
- Last commercial flight within the preceding 6 months (preferable, not hard limit due to COVID-19 effects);
- AND 1.000 hours as Commander on Airbus FBW aircraft operating in airline environment* OR 1.500 hours on CS25 turbojet aircraft with a MTOM > 50.000 kg AND 1000 hours as Commander on aircraft with a MTOM > 50.000 kg operating in airline environment;
Notes:
*Ultra-light aircraft, power gliders, simulator and helicopter hours are excluded. PIC hours are pilot in command hours. This does not include PICUS hours.
