Camex Adria Airlines, an international cargo operator company, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Cargo Sales Manager.

Aligning to our commercial strategy and partnering with our leadership teams his/her role will have the responsibility to expand business opportunities by identifying business prospects and establishing relationships with potential new clients across different industries.

The essential factor is the ability to make strong relationships with customers and airlines, skills and knowledge of managing interline agreements and effective sales negotiation skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate cargo traffic to achieve sales target and goals
  • Coordinate local and regional cargo sales
  • Identify growing markets in air cargo demand
  • Find and manage relationship with partners for interline agreements and per kg sales
  • Create a working document to analyze route profitability and expenses
  • To continuously achieve and meet budgeted revenues
  • Control invoices from ground handling agents
  • Improve performance and maximize revenue growth of the airline
  • Set up a sustainable sales strategy
  • Complex negotiations with the company's significant customers, establish a long-term mutually beneficial partnership with them
  • Report processes at regular intervals (daily, monthly, etc.) to the management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a commercial/business development role within the logistics industry, at least 3 years of which in the airline industry in a similar role
  • Ability to develop and maintain long term relationships with clients and have fast-paced work approach
  • Strong analytical skills with experience forecasting future results
  • Effective sales negotiation skills
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder
