Job Title: Advisor - Vice President Aircraft Maintenance
Reports to: Vice President Aircraft Maintenance
Job Purpose: The successful candidate will advise the Vice President of Aircraft Maintenance on the departments important matters including projects and operations. This role is highly responsible and of a confidential nature with multiple tasks including advice and general support duties.
Essential Job Function:
Oversee the development, implementation policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
Deliver a cost effective service to internal and external customers.
Study existing and new legislations while ensuring compliance with local legal requirements.
Advising management on actions required.
Support and advise the VP on key policy matters of corporate significance.
Participate in budget preparation and provide inputs in the department's strategy.
Participate in the short and long term developmental plans of the department.
Evaluate operational results and prepare reports accurately. Ensure reports meets company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
Identify industry trends, research and advice recommended actions and determine the economic feasibility within the department.
Responding to issuers raised by the VP or Stakeholders, advise, recommend, or direct action as appropriate.
Analysis the operations plans, performance level and business case proposal and advice accordingly.
Lead or contribute projects where required and coordinate between VP and Stakeholders.
Comply with safety and management policies and procedures while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.
Perform all related duties and assignments as directed.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science or any relevant field. (Experience: WE 11 Years/ RF 5 Years/ SR 4 Years)
Qualifications and experience might also be determined as per the recommendations of the VP or the CEO
Any certificate or license recognised and approved by the aviation authorities or General Authority of Civil Aviation such as Airframe and Powerplant (preferred)
