Job description

Zenon are pleased to be supporting a privately owned, dynamic & innovative world leading independent aviation component service provider & you have the opportunity to be part of their success. They are looking to engage a Quality Inspector – Receiving on a permanent basis in the South East of the UK.


The successful candidate will work within the Goods Receiving team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of shipments to meet operational requirements. Provide a high level of service to departments and customers alike.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:-

 

  • • Receive and inspect all incoming goods
  • • Review all documents & certifications  
  • • Ensure all items are received undamaged & correctly packaged to meet shipping regulations
  • • Liaise with other teams to resolve issues   
  • • Input and record data on IT systems
  • • Handle aircraft parts in like with company regulations  
  • • Use Counter balance/Reach Forklift equipment in warehouse
  • • Work in line with health & safety guidelines  
  • • Liaise with freight and courier companies
  • • Attend meetings and training when required  
  • • Assist with Operations support for other facilities
  • • Carryout safety checks to ensure equipment is working  
  • • Work to the requirements of ISO9001-2008 and FAA AC00-56B
  • • Work in line with export control regulation  
  • • Assist the Operations Supervisor when needed
  • • Undertake driving duties as required
  • • Any other duties as requested


Minimum skills & experience –

 

  • • Good knowledge of warehouse disciplines
  • • Knowledge of aircraft spares parts
  • • Knowledge of component conditions, certification, and airworthiness regulations
  • • Extensive knowledge of Quantum and Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • • Problem solving ability
  • • Ability to work in a busy environment in line with deadlines
  • • Excellent communication skills
  • • Able to organise and manage workload
  • • Numerate and methodical
  • • Flexibility in working hours
  • • Ability to undertake physical tasks within Health and Safety guidelines
